Role overview
Hope Family Trust is looking for a Senior Welfare Rights Adviser to provide specialist welfare benefits advice, advocacy, and practical support for Barking Foodbank clients.

- 1 year fixed term, with possible extension
- Location
- Barking and Dagenham outreach sites
What you will do
- Lead the Information and Advice Team.
- Provide welfare benefits advice and advocacy.
- Support mandatory reconsiderations and tribunal appeals.
- Build relationships with local organisations and agencies.
Essential requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- At least two years of welfare benefits advice experience.
- Experience from claims through to tribunal level.
- Strong communication, empathy, and a non-judgemental approach.
